The State Cyber Security and Intelligence Agency (SCSIA) is an autonomous intelligence apparatus operating at the state and municipal level. Our mandate covers comprehensive digital surveillance, counter-espionage, dark web eradication, and neutralization of cyber threats before they materialize.
Unlike federal agencies focused on international threats, the SCSIA is a surgical instrument designed to police the digital and physical shadows within state borders. We operate outside standard bureaucratic channels, allowing for immediate and decisive action against illegal internet activities, cyber-terrorism, and domestic espionage.
Intelligence Administrator (IA) — The SCSIA is commanded exclusively by the Intelligence Administrator. Operating with absolute autonomy, the IA holds unilateral authority over state-level digital infrastructure and intelligence gathering. They possess the clearance to override local law enforcement, seize corporate networks, and deploy field operatives without judicial oversight.
The identity, physical location, and prior service record of the IA are entirely erased from all public and restricted databases, making them a ghost within the system they control.
Administration
Central command, strategic planning, and agency governance under the Intelligence Administrator.
Digital Forensics
Evidence recovery, encrypted data analysis, and digital crime scene reconstruction.
Legal Affairs
Legal oversight, regulatory compliance, and inter-agency judicial coordination.
Cyber Operations
Offensive and defensive cyber warfare, network infiltration, and active threat neutralization.
Formed in response to asymmetrical cyber threats against regional critical infrastructure, SCSIA transitioned from an experimental tactical detachment into the state's paramount clandestine cyber intelligence force.
Agency Founded
Established quietly in Wakad, Pune as an autonomous cyber counter-espionage unit outside standard ministerial bureaucracy.
First Operational Case
Successfully neutralized coordinated digital sabotage against municipal energy grids, validating the agency's autonomous charter.
Tri-Hub Expansion
Expanded operational reach across the region, inaugurating 3 dedicated command Headquarters with connected field posts.
Autonomous Perimeter
Operating under direct Omega clearances with real-time threat neutralization and 24/7 autonomous dark web surveillance.
RAW — Research & Analysis Wing
India's primary foreign intelligence agency. External intelligence gathering and covert operations.
NIA — National Investigation Agency
Counter-terrorism investigations, cross-border crime, and national security threats.
CERT-In — Indian Computer Emergency Response Team
National nodal agency for responding to cybersecurity incidents across India.
CBI — Central Bureau of Investigation
Premier investigating agency for major crimes, corruption, and economic offenses.
IB — Intelligence Bureau
India's internal intelligence agency. Domestic intelligence and counter-intelligence operations.
SCSIA partners with CERT-In on state-level threat monitoring
A new MoU was signed to establish real-time threat intelligence sharing between SCSIA field offices and CERT-In's national operations center.
New Mumbai HQ achieves full operational status
The Covert Operations Base in New Mumbai has completed deployment and is now fully online with all three field offices connected.
Advisory issued on rising deepfake threats to state officials
The Digital Forensics division has issued an internal advisory regarding increased deepfake-based social engineering attacks.
Operation Silent Wire
A coordinated ransomware attack targeting municipal water treatment facilities across three districts was identified and neutralized by the Cyber Operations division within 72 hours. The attack originated from a dark web syndicate operating through compromised IoT devices. Four suspects were traced and their digital infrastructure was dismantled. No public infrastructure was compromised.
Never share OTPs or passwords
No government agency, bank, or service will ever ask for your OTP, PIN, or password over phone, email, or SMS.
Verify before you click
Always check the sender's email and URL before clicking. Phishing sites use misspelled domains that look nearly identical.
Enable two-factor authentication
Use 2FA on all critical accounts. An authenticator app is more secure than SMS-based verification.
Keep devices and software updated
Outdated software contains known vulnerabilities. Enable automatic updates on all devices and applications.
Use strong, unique passwords
Never reuse passwords. Use a password manager to generate and store complex passwords for each service.
Avoid public Wi-Fi for sensitive tasks
Public networks are easily intercepted. Never access banking or sensitive portals without a trusted VPN.
Report suspicious activity immediately
If you encounter a cybercrime or phishing attempt, report it to your local cyber cell or CERT-In.
Transparency Statement
As of the date listed below, the SCSIA has not received any secret court orders, national security letters, or classified surveillance directives that compel the agency to withhold information or grant covert access to third-party entities.
If this statement is ever removed or not updated, it should be interpreted accordingly.
We don't recruit. We find you.
If you're the right fit, you'll know. And so will we.
